On January 13, I gave a talk at First Baptist Church’s annual Gala, the speech titled, “My Times Are in Your Hands.” It was a beautiful evening with over 200 ladies in attendance. We laughed and cried and spoke of our Creator God and His love of us and of poetry; in fact we learned that we are His poiema! We recited some psalms from the Bible and read some of our poetry as we spoke of His wonders and grace and love.
